Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using any font software from Omar Type Foundry, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Font License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our fonts.

2. Single-Person License

Each font license is granted to one individual only. The licensed individual may install and use the Font Software on up to 3 workstations (as defined in our Font License Agreement). However, the license may not be shared with or used by any other person, including colleagues, employees, contractors, or family members outside the immediate household. Each individual who wishes to use the Font Software must purchase their own separate license.

3. License Types

Omar Type Foundry offers two types of font licenses:

• Desktop License (TTF/OTF): For use on personal computers, workstations, and printers. Includes up to 3 workstations at a single geographic location. Single-person use only.
• Webfont License (WOFF/WOFF2): For embedding fonts on websites using @font-face. Requires separate purchase and higher fee. Contact us before purchasing webfonts.

4. Permitted Uses

• Personal and internal business use
• Creating printed works for resale (static designs)
• Creating logos and corporate identities

5. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use our fonts without proper licensing upgrades for:

• Commercial alphabet/letterform products
• Broadcast or film (TV, cinema)
• Mobile apps or electronic device embedding
• Software embedding
• Webfonts (requires separate webfont license)

6. Restrictions

• You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the font software
• You may not modify or create derivative works from the font software without prior consent
• You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the font software

7. Copyright & Ownership

All fonts are copyrighted property of Omar Type Foundry. This is a license agreement, not a sale. Omar Type retains all rights, title, and interest in the font software.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The font software is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. Omar Type makes no representations or warranties regarding performance, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

Omar Type shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the font software.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.

11. Termination

This agreement terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any term. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the font software.

12. Webfont License Summary

• Perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license
• For use on websites with @font-face CSS
• Pageview limit: up to 500,000 pageviews per month (higher limits available)
